Meet Dr. Perry

Dr. Dan Perry grew up in Mobile, Alabama and graduated from McGill-Toolen High School in 1986. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Spring Hill College. Dr. Perry attended the University of Alabama School of Dentistry, and obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1995.

Dr. Perry moved back to his hometown and joined the practice of Dr. Harry Coker in 1997, giving him an opportunity to learn under one of the most renowned clinicians in the state and establish his knowledge base in restorative and cosmetic dentistry. Under the guidance of Dr. Coker, Dr. Perry was able to practice and perform extensive restorative procedures early in his career. His mentor's guidance also enabled Dr. Perry to obtain the finest continuing education available during his formative years. Dr. Perry completed courses under Dr. Pete Dawson, Dr. Frank Spear, and The Pankey Institute, to name a few.

Dr. Perry has maintained an active membership in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry since 2000. He is also a member of the Pankey Institute Alumni Association, one the nation’s foremost centers of continuing education, based in Miami. In 2004, he was nominated for membership in the Chicago-based American Equilibration Society, an organization devoted to the study of occlusion and its effects on the dentition and supporting structures. Dr. Perry is an active member of the American Dental Association, Alabama Dental Association, the Mobile Area Dental Society, and he maintains an active membership in the Chicago Dental Society.

In 2015, Dr. Perry moved into his current office at 4863 Old Shell Road - a facility that allows him to provide optimal patient care. Dr. Perry and his staff consistently seek the finest continuing dental education in order expand their knowledge and keep up with the latest techniques and materials. Dr. Perry incorporated CEREC® technology at his office in 2012, which provided the ability to use digital impression techniques and CAD-CAM technology to fabricate crowns in the course of a single visit. Dr. Perry also includes the treatment of TMJ dysfunction and obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) to his list of services.

Dr. Perry maintains an active general dentistry practice with an emphasis on restorative and cosmetic dentistry as well as dental implants. He welcomes new patients for both restorative needs and routine care.

Dr. Perry is an active member of the Mobile community and served on the Board of Directors at the Country Club of Mobile for over twelve years, serving as President in 2016-17.

Dr. Perry and his wife Kimberly have three children: Joseph, Liza, and Charles.
